S - Chair

After completing the design stage, I start to play with allowances of the cogs to determine the curvature. 

Using the woodshop in Standgade, Copenhagen, construction begins.

The first test of the cogs holding a curved form while under tension by string.

Each cog is labeled for its specific angles and placement. 

The form flattens and can be easily rolled up in reverse for transport.

Nearing completion.

The final form is completed. Later to be finished with spacers between the cogs and rope to apply the tension. 

The elevation of the chair to show its varied reclining positions.
